Frogg Toggs
If you are serious about staying dry and not overheating then buy a Frogg Toggs suit.
During my internet search for proper riding gear I read many reviews about proper raingear. Many complained that though their suits worked they were on occasion hot and uncomfortable.
The Frogg Toggs wearing riders loved their suits and never complained about heating up.
Our closest supplier was Bass Pro Shop and being first time buyers we were not aware that the suits we bought were mixed matched and what we thought were were not. Our jackets were but the pants were not and they ended up fraying quite quickly.
We returned to Bass Pro Shop to explain the situation and they were not interested in helping in any way. It was the last time we ever shopped there.
During a ride through Idaho we stopped at Cabala’s in Post Falls and purchased a new Road Toad suit for my wife as hers was the one in worse shape for $69.99.
I decided I would contact Frogg Toggs by email and ask if they had others ever experience the problem we had and they were just great. The lady we were dealing with gave us a return number and asked if we would send the damaged suits to them and they would look them over and based on what I had described they would most likely send us new suits.
Sure enough within a week of mailing the suits the super helpful lady sent us an email saying our suits were in the mail. What a great product with great customer service. We have ridden across the country, many points in between and in every kind of weather and I have to tell you when cold put them on and you’ll be warm. When it’s threatening to rain put them on and you won’t overheat and you will stay dry.
You can pack these suits in the small stuff sack and leave them in your saddle bag and never be wet again. Without a doubt the best rain suits I have ever owned.
