I’m sure you are wondering about the name of this site. Take a look at the upper photo and count the wheels.

Yep a Unigo trailer makes three. Therefore blog names with “third wheel in them”.  Riding a motorcycle around the country is a great deal of fun and adding a single wheel trailer makes it a whole lot better.

For a number of years we have had a God Given privilege to travel throughout North America on a motorcycle and we have absolutely loved it.

When we started to travel on a motorcycle our friends started asking what, where and why questions and they also wanted to see photos of our destinations. Our friend Keith Howie had designed a blog about their travels in Panama on WordPress and suggested we start a blog for our family and friends to follow along. Keith showed me how to set up a blog and from that this website was formed.

I wanted to be able to share all we had learned about motorcycle travel but found that a lot of the information would not be interesting to some on the blog so we decided the website format was a better format for everyone.

We first started out on a Honda PC800 Pacific Coast travelling across the country and what an adventure it was. Presently we travel on a Honda Goldwing 1800 which we ride almost daily.

Everything regarding riding a motorcycle that we have experienced from the start to the present will be detailed in the following pages. You will find out where to learn to ride, what to buy, what not to buy and possibly have a laugh or two reading about the mistakes we made. We hope you enjoy!
