Headlight Modulator

Most of the books I read before starting to ride mentioned trying to be highly visible was priority one. Numerous articles suggested using a headlight modulator to increase visibility. I searched and found the Kriss Modulator which I installed on our Honda PC800.

Kriss suggests that you increase your visibility in traffic by getting attention of those in front of you, especially the driver with the potential of making a dangerous left turn.

Installation is simple because most of our modulators are plug and play and others the wiring is simple.

No drilling holes for our Light Sensor in your valuable headlight or fairing.

After installing the Headlight modulator I did notice increased visibility but the attention I received was not always what I was looking for. Some people must have thought I was a police officer as they would pull over or slow down when I approached from the rear and some would flash their lights when I approached head on. One old guy gave me the finger after pulling over and then realizing we were not.

I’m sure it gets attention but I took it out after the wires got pinched in the steering head after the tie wrap that held it broke and it caused the loss of my headlight. After I never really noticed people not noticing us, maybe it was my bright orange Shoei helmet.

Anyway a good product if you want attention, good or bad.
